Equipment for the visually impaired
The Learning Centre P48 (ground floor) have a reading-tv, a book and text scanner for the visually impaired and users with special needs. The equipment is useful for visually impaired, dyslexic, and others with reading difficulties, or who wish to have text read aloud.
Contact the University Library or the IT-servicedesk in P48 if you need help with the equipment.
Technical equipment
- ClearView+ (electronic video magnifier which can magnify text, images etc.)
- Book scanner
- IRIScan Mouse (scan text and paste into a document. Paste the text as an image or as editable text. The mouse recognizes the languages English and Norwegian but you can add more languages).
