If you would like to present a paper (long or short) or host a panel at the conference, we invite you to submit an abstract or panel proposal by January 16. The paper or panel can be related to the overall theme of the conference, or to other themes of interest for Nordic cultural policy research. We invite papers from a variety of fields provided that the contributions relate to Nordic cultural policy research in a broad sense. Both theoretical, methodological, and empirical papers are welcome. The conference languages are English, Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish.
Instructions for paper abstracts
Abstracts should be no longer than 150 words. If your abstract is accepted, you are expected to submit a paper by June 19. You have the option to present a full paper (6000-8000 words) or a short paper (max 3000 words) at the conference. Please indicate what paper you are aiming for with your abstract. More detailed information on the two paper types will be presented once the abstract has been accepted.
Instructions for panel proposals
- Panels should involve between three and five speakers and revolve around a common theme.
- The panel description should not exceed 1000 words.
- The proposal should include information on the language of the panel, and names and affiliations of the organizers and/or participants.
- Please include 3-5 keywords describing the panel.
Important dates
- January 16: Deadline for abstract submission.
- June 19: Deadline for paper submission.
