The Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education is part of the Faculty of Teacher Education and International Studies. We are located at Campus Pilestredet in Oslo. We educate skilled teachers and school leaders for Norwegian schools in close collaboration with the field of practice.
The department also offers supplementary teacher education for candidates with foreign teacher education. Our employees conduct research in pedagogy, didactics, subject didactics in school and teacher education, as well as teacher qualification.
