The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training have as a part of their 'Initiative for special pedagogy and inclusive practice' launched a web-based competency package called 'Competency package for inclusive practice'.
In this project we will investigate how this package is used by professionals in the municipalities and county municipalities, such as in schools and kindergartens.
Research question
How is the competence package for inclusive practice used by supervisors, managers and employees in municipalities and county municipalities, and what success criteria and challenges can we identify in the use of the package?
Data and method
We will have qualitative case studies with interviews and observation as well as a survey.
The aim is to produce practice-oriented knowledge that is relevant for professionals in municipalities/county municipalities in their work to create inclusive arenas for all children. The final report of the project will be published in December 2025.
