RE:BARENTS will examine the impact of Norwegian–Russian collaboration on health and social welfare in the Barents region since 2000.
About the project
The project examines the long-term impact of the projects, programmes and work of the committees, councils and expert groups engaged in Norwegian–Russian collaboration on health and social welfare in the Barents region since 2000.
It also studies how individuals, institutions and local communities adapt to the geopolitical transformations resulting from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
RE:BARENTS includes both academic (NORCE Research) and non-academic (the Norwegian Barents Secretariat and the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities, KS) partners, and three Masters students at OsloMet are affiliated to the project.
