This course prepares you for working in intensive programs designed to accelerate learning in young children with developmental disorders, focusing on communication, academic, play, and social skills, with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis.

Admission requirements

Be admitted to a master's programme in the field of behavioural science. Upper level bachelor students in the field of psychology/behavioral science with prerequisites in behavior analysis may apply for the course.

Course description

This course prepares you for working in intensive programs designed to accelerate learning for young children with pervasive development disorders, using Applied Behavior Analysis. In this course, you will study Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention and other interventions, quality control measures, outcomes, EIBI's relation to the neurodiversity movement, and more.

The exam is an individual home examination.

Grading scale: A-F.

Costs
