This course gives you a more in-depth behaviour analytic understanding of human behaviour. It provides a more detailed look at the theoretical basis for using learning principles to solve different challenges.

Admission requirements

You must have completed a course in behavior analysis and a course in applied behavior analysis.

Course description

This course enables you to describe the correlation between applied, experimental, and conceptual behavior analysis and explain complex phenomena like memory and cognition within this framework.

You will be able to debate the pros and cons of the behavior analytic approach and provide examples of its principles. 

You will also be able to discuss the role of description, prediction, and control in behavior science and understand the considerations for developing a unit of analysis in this field.

Exam

The assessment consists of a portfolio examination of several tests during the course and an individual home exam.

Grading scale: A-F.

Costs

There is no semester fee for exchange students.
