The subject introduces central theories and research traditions in media production, and examines political, economic, social, technological and cultural developments in the media field in the Norwegian and international contexts.
Course period fall 2024
- We invite to an introductory digital meeting: Monday September 16th, 13-14:30
- The lectures will take place between Wednesday October 9 – Friday October 11,, 09:oo-15:oo (all days)
- We also have two text seminars that take place on October 25th (09-11:oo) and November 9 (09-11:oo) (digital participation is possible in the text seminars).
Application and admission
The course is offered to PhD candidates.
- Internal candidates use Studentweb (fsweb.no) and register themselves, or contact the PhD administration.
- External applicants use Søknadsweb (fsweb.no). Search for Doctoral modules and then Doctoral modules Faculty of Social Sciences.
The necessary attachments to be loaded into Søknadsweb is:
- Confirmation of admission to a PhD programme
- Short summary, approximately one A4 page, with information about your own PhD project and why this PhD topic is relevant to your project.
