Consumption Research Norway (SIFO) and OsloMet invite students, UCRF members and other interested parties to participate in a seminar exploring urgent themes of sustainability, change, the growth logic and consumption in the fashion sector.
PART 1 – seminar presentations
- Kate Fletcher (Professor at Centre for Sustainable Fashion, University of the Arts London) - Fashion, Food & Change
- Ingun Grimstad Klepp (Research Professor at Consumption Research Norway (SIFO), OsloMet) - 80 år med forskning på klær og mat til nytte for den norske forbruker. Bruk av kunnskap i endringsarbeid
- Else Skjold (Associate Professor at the Royal Academy of Fine arts in Denmark) – Sustainability in the Danish fashion education
The seminar will primarily be in English, except for the talk by Ingun Grimstad Klepp.
PART 2 – Local Assembly of the ‘Union of Concerned Researchers in Fashion’
OPEN INVITATION TO SUSTAINABLE FASHION RESEARCHERS (120 mins)
Hosted by Kate Fletcher and Else Skjold and organised using an ‘Open Space’ methodology, the Assembly will discuss urgent questions and issues around fashion and sustainability with the starting point UCRF’s manifesto: concernedresearchers.org
