Educated as an occupational therapist with a PhD from the University of Oslo (2004). Since 2019 to 2022 she led the research group Interventions in Work and Everyday Life at the Department of Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics. Was Professor of Occupational Therapy at the same department until 2022. Research interests related to rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, complex interventions, work-oriented rehabilitation, method development and occupational therapy. Research projects, excerpts: - Combined cognitive and work-oriented rehabilitation after mild-to-moderate traumatic head injury, an RCT - Rehabilitation needs, rehabilitation services and costs in the first year after injuries. - Psychosocial health after stroke, an RCT -Traumatic brain injury, needs and treatment options in the chronic phase. A randomized controlled community-based intervention. Scientific editor in the journal Ergoterapeuten and is a member of the National Editors' Board in the Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy

Patient specific functional scale to measure rehabilitation goals for patients with acquired brain injury
This project will investigate the Patient Specific Functional Scale (PSFS) as a measure to document and monitor patient-identified rehabilitation goals for patients with acquired brain injury (ABI).
