Youth in Traffic

The project is a literature review of research on youth in traffic.

In this project, we will conduct a literature review of research on young people's behavior and attitudes in traffic, as well as their habits and general life situations in Norway.

Young drivers (16–24 years old) are a particularly vulnerable group in traffic, with a higher risk of accidents compared to more experienced drivers. Understanding the characteristics of today’s youth and identifying developmental trends is therefore essential for comprehending young people's attitudes and behavior in traffic.

The knowledge generated by this project will be relevant for developing more targeted and effective measures to reduce serious traffic accidents among young people.
