Jeg er utdannet fysioterapeut og jobber i dag som underviser og forsker ved Instititutt for rehabiliteringsvitenskap og helseteknologi.  Mine forskningsinteresser retter seg mot aldring og jeg er spesielt nysgjerrig på hvorfor det er så stor variasjon i funksjon og helse hos eldre mennesker. Har forsket mye på hvordan vi kan bruke fysisk aktivitet og trening som tiltak for å bedre funksjon og helse hos eldre personer med komorbiditet. Jeg er også interessert i hvordan vi kan forebygge fall hos eldre personer ved å implementere forskningsbaserte tiltak i primær helsetjenesten
