Omid Rasouli er førsteamanuensis ved Institutt for rehabiliteringsvitenskap og helseteknologi, Fakultet for helsevitenskap ved OsloMet – storbyuniversitetet. Omid har en bachelor- og mastergrad i fysioterapi, samt en ekstra mastergrad i idrettsvitenskap. Han mottok en doktorgrad i samfunnsmedisin fra Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet i 2017. Han har jobbet som kliniker og forsker med ulike pasientpopulasjoner. Han har vært involvert i flere observasjons- og intervensjonsstudier, hovedsakelig ved bruk av kvantitative metoder. Omid sine forskningsinteresser omfatter ulike aspekter av muskelskjeletthelse, håndtering av kroniske smerter og anvendelse av teknologi innen rehabilitering.
