Nina Heidenstrøm er doktor i sosiologi, Universitetet i Oslo. Hun forsker på bærekraftig forbruk og husholdningers kriseberedskap. Felles for de to temaene er et fokus på hverdagsliv, sosiale praksiser og kroppslig kunnskap. Hun bruker kvalitative, etnografiske metoder og er særlig opptatt av hvordan vi kan studere den materielle kulturen for å forstå den sosiale verden.
